UK's Leading Technology Futurist Announced as Main Stage Speaker at Techfest 2019

Nicola Moss

Head of Marketing at Node4

Node4, the cloud, data centre and communications solutions provider, has today announced that Techfest 2019 will host some of the world’s top industry experts, with an impressive line-up of speakers including the world’s first applied futurist, Tom Cheesewright. As an expert who coaches companies to see the future and respond with agility, he will speak alongside experts from Microsoft and NetApp at the inaugural Techfest event in June.

Tom is one of the most respected consultants and commentators on tomorrow’s world and his session will look at how businesses can manage high frequency change. The audience will learn about embracing changing working environments and achieving sustainable success as an employee and as an organisation, in an age of uncertainty.

Node4 is holding Techfest at Kings Place, London, on the final day of London Tech Week 2019. Free to attend, Techfest celebrates innovation, focussing on technology challenges and opportunities that IT decision makers are facing. Attendees will learn about public cloud, data protection, cyber security and collaboration – all presented in an engaging format of keynotes, lightning talks, demos and case studies. The event also features presentations from industry figures and includes a panel debate with Simon Hazlitt, author of Running on Air and Co-founder of Majedie Asset Management.

The exciting event line-up includes:

  • Alex Montgomery, who brings 18 years’ experience in the tech industry – the last nine of which have been spent in a number of strategy roles at Microsoft
  • Matt Watts, Director of Technology and Strategy at NetApp, who will share with attendees his extensive knowledge of the IT industry

Techfest has been designed to give freedom for visitors to design their own day based on the exact content they want to see and hear.
