Node4 has continued its meteoric rise after being recognised in the Deloitte 'Technology Fast 500 EMEA' rankings for the second year running. It follows the company's recent appearance in The Sunday Times 'Tech Track 100', also for the second consecutive year. The company received its prestigious award for featuring in the list at an executive dinner at the Tower of London last night.
Node4 ranked 438 on the Deloitte 'Technology Fast 500 EMEA' 2011, a ranking of the 500 fastest growing technology companies in the EMEA. Rankings are based on percentage revenue growth over five years. Node4 grew 363% during this period.
Andrew Gilbert, Managing Director of Node4 credits the company's commitment to security and reliability at its data centres and ambitious growth plans for its impressive performance over the past five years. He said;
"The consistent performance is what has separated us from our competitors as we have been able to continue growth at a time when others have been struggling in a difficult economy. We have focused on staying ahead of trends in cloud computing and we will be extending our range of services to enable Node4 to lead in terms on innovation.
This is an important time for Node4 as more firms move to cloud based platforms. The sector as a whole should be equipped to provide them the tools they need to make the transition."
Node4 previously ranked 138 on the 2010 Deloitte 'Technology Fast 500' rankings. Overall this year, companies that ranked on the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 EMEA 2011 programme had an average growth rate of 1,287%.
David Halstead, Deloitte United Kingdom and partner in charge of the Deloitte 'Technology Fast 500 EMEA' programme said;
"Because Deloitte 'Technology Fast 500 EMEA' measures sustained revenue growth over five years, being one of the 500 fastest growing technology companies in EMEA is an impressive achievement. Node4 deserves a lot of credit for its remarkable growth."
