Node4 has appointed Paula Johnston to the position of Head of Public Sector Sales.

Johnston, whose previous position was with Virgin Media Business, brings an impressive track record to her new role with Node4, where we she will be responsible for growing the company’s presence in the public sector.

Paula Johnston is a public sector specialist with over 10 years of experience. During her tenure at Virgin Media, Paula managed the Public Sector Team across the midlands and south growing its presence within the sector. She managed key accounts and won lucrative deals being awarded as the top sales performer in 2015. Prior to joining Virgin Media Business, Johnston was the public sector Account Director at Airwave, where she won significant contracts to supply the Bluelight Sector with secure communication solutions including encrypted connectivity and Unified Communications.

Johnston has already achieved two key milestones for Node4. She has helped the firm become NHS’s Health and Social Care Network (HSCN) compliant, and achieve G-Cloud 9 supplier status. These two accreditations put Node4 in a strong position to fulfil the company’s ambitious growth plans for this sector.

Paul Bryce, Business Development Director, Node4, comments; “This is an important hire for us, as we work to position Node4 as a true end-to-end IT supplier for mid-tier, charity organisations and the public sector. Paula brings a wealth of valuable experience in the sector, and we expect her to play a key strategic role in helping us achieve our growth plans.”

Paula adds; “Node4 is ideally placed to help the public sector face some key IT infrastructure challenges, including security which is a key priority for police, local government and the NHS alike. Now that Node4 is fully HSCN compliant and a G-Cloud 9 supplier, my priority is to build on our experience in this sector to ensure that Node4 is established as a major contender. We are looking forward to this upcoming challenge, and I am excited to be the one spearheading this new development phase for Node4.”
