Node4, the Cloud, Data Centre and Communications specialist, is hosting a workshop roadshow throughout February 2016, designed to guide businesses on how to migrate smoothly to the new NetApp CDOT operating system, a technology that underpins the Node4 Cloud platform.

The workshops will also provide valuable insight as to how businesses can develop strategies that provide effective ways to manage and store big data.

Hosted in conjunction with NetApp, the workshops will focus on the capabilities and technology behind NetApp’s CDOT operating system and how this can be applied to drive efficiency, seamless scalability and resilience into data storage for businesses.

The CDOT sessions will be hosted by Adam Dyche the leader of Node4’s Cloud Platform and Applications Support Team, responsible for running Node4’s four Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) Cloud platforms and supporting the client applications they underpin. In 2015, Adam led the complete, non-disruptive upgrade of the underlying NetApp storage on the Node4 Cloud.

NetApp’s Alex Nicholson, from the company’s emerging products group, will also host workshops on the big data challenge. He will explore the real world challenges in data management and analytics and discuss how a complete conceptual change in the world of data storage can be addressed and employed by IT departments.

The Node4 CDOT migration workshops will take place throughout February, on the following dates: 4th February, London; 11th February, Northampton; and 25th February, Bristol.
