Derby, UK, 14th July 2015 – Moving Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity to the Cloud is critical if the enterprise is going to benefit from the most resilient and scalable service, according to experts at the 4th Cloud Clarity forum, held last week.

Hosted by Cloud and Data Centre specialist Node4, the event brought together a host of Cloud experts and Node4 customers to discuss how Cloud backup services can meet the needs of businesses.

The Cloud Clarity event, which took place at The Gherkin, London, highlighted the increasingly important role of the Cloud in data security strategies and enabling rapid Disaster Recovery. Guest speakers included Martin Warren, of Node4 partner and data management, and recovery specialist NetApp, who presented real world examples of how Cloud infrastructures and Backup Services are transforming service delivery and simplifying management - including Node4 customer, Breyer Construction.
The event included forward-thinking discussions of the future of enterprise backup, both in the Cloud and offline, and the implications of upcoming backup methods and media on the enterprise.

Steve Denby, Head of Sales South, Node4, comments: “As each event passes, we continue to see increased adoption and understanding of how the Cloud can benefit the enterprise, particularly as leaders come to appreciate the true value of their data - and rapid recovery should disaster strike. Through partnerships with leaders in data backup and recovery technology we continue to enhance our Cloud offering, ensuring our customers have piece of mind that their data is protected.”
