Node4, the cloud, data centre and communications solutions provider, has today announced it has successfully provided Outwood Grange Academies Trust with flexible, reliable and cost-effective centralised IT services.
With 31 schools in its Trust, it is crucial for Outwood Grange to maintain the availability of its IT infrastructure across multiple locations to fulfil the needs to staff and students. The Trust struggled to achieve a stable and consistent solution with its previous data centre provider and turned to Node4 as it wanted an IT partner that owned its own facilities, had a history of success and could fulfil its needs.
Node4 successfully stepped up to the challenge to centralise its IT estate, giving each academy the same robust support, flexibility, agility and to allow continued, agile expansion of the Trust.
“With Node4’s help we very easily relocated our critical centralised telephone infrastructure, backup systems, e-mail server and HR/Finance and Payroll facilities,” explained Director of ICT at Outwood Grange Academies Trust, Stuart Jones. “This makes our model very cost effective and allows support staff to work across multiple academies. It also means that everyone can get what they want from one location. Without this tech, we just couldn’t cover that area with such a lean staff count. We also couldn’t allow our staff such flexible, easy working.”
“We were really impressed from the get-go with what Node4 could provide us. Nothing was too much trouble. Anything we needed was no problem, right down to the quirky little intricacies we specified. The team were happy to accommodate us and for Node4, anything we asked for, was just business as usual,” Stuart continued.
